WINTER INFORMATION:
The reality of parking groups of cars in winter has encouraged me to pause scheduled monthly hours. Regular monthly hours will resume when parking is easier. For January and February, possibly longer depending on snow, we are implementing individually scheduled hours.
To schedule a time January, February, and March to visit the labyrinth for an individual or small group, email christine@mindfulnessinorganizations.com.
I know life can be chaotic and hard sometimes. There are still lots of reasons grounding in the peace of the labyrinth would benefit my fellow community members. Email me and we’ll find a time for you to visit, whether alone or with friends!
Description: Please Read If Attending
The Miller Creek Labyrinth is a meditative experience. Anyone is welcome to come to walk the labyrinth in the spirit of this quiet experience, just schedule a time! Silence within and around the labyrinth, and kind consideration for others' experience, is requested.
Please review the linked labyrinth protocols below.
Heads Up:
It is possible to walk the labyrinth all winter, but if the weather is dangerous, hours may be canceled. Also, parking will vary depending on the weather, location and parking directions will be given when you schedule time.
The ground is rough and uneven. Please wear appropriate shoes to be safe. You may want a walking stick or headlamp (if nighttime) - although please keep the head lamp facing down.
By scheduling labyrinth time, you are acknowledging there is a risk to walking on uneven ground and by voluntarily attending, you assume responsibility for your care and hold the landowners harmless.
Meditation guide: Christine Lustik has 2 Mindfulness teacher training certifications through Mindfulness Training Institute and Awake in the Wild. She has been teaching meditation and mindfulness within organizations, the community, and outside in nature since 2013.
Donations will be accepted for use of the space. Anything from $2-10 would be appreciated. All donations go to support Red Willow Learning Center, a nonprofit organization in Missoula working to meet the wellbeing needs of underserved populations in our community.
